Weight Loss Journey

Weight loss is a life-long journey and you need many tools in your toolbox to make it a long-term success. One of the tools patients find very helpful are using websites to help them set their goals and track their weight and protein/calorie intake. Here are a couple websites I think you will find useful: www.RealizeMySuccess.com and www.LapBand.com (Sign into My LapBand Journey).

These websites are available for patients prior to and after surgery. Some of the things they include are: Daily calorie/protein tracker, behavioral health tracking, goal setting for exercise, appointment reminders, weight tracking, and recipes specific for the bariatric patient. These sites also allow you to upload pictures of yourself along your weight loss journey. I encourage you to take a little bit of time to look at these sites.

I totally recommend the use the the RealizeMySuccess site. It does take a little getting used to but it is worth the time. I especially love the recipes and the food journal. It is very user friendly and has helped me to get back on track.
