Does insurance cover bariatric surgery or non-surgical weight loss?

Each insurance plan is different and has different criteria to adhere to. In general, for insurance to cover bariatric surgery, your BMI must be 40 or higher, or 35 or higher with approved co-morbidities such as sleep apnea, hypertension, or diabetes. By submitting your insurance information with Grand Health Partners, once you have requested a consultation, we will be able review your specific plan and provide details of coverage during your consultation.
