Dr. Baker is involved in research all over the world and presents his findings in France, Spain, Tokyo, and at the ASMBS conferences. Currently Dr. Baker and his partners are working on the Full Sense Device through BFKW LLC. He and his wife, Dawn, have nine children. Dr. Baker is a gifted pianist and enjoys singing southern gospel music with his family.

Personal Bio
Dr. Bushman is a general surgeon with special interest in reflux disease and bariatric surgery. He is a recent newlywed who is setting down permanent roots in West Michigan. He is a big sports fan and enjoys playing hockey, soccer, golf, and softball, and he also enjoys hiking and takes any opportunity to head up to northern Michigan to enjoy the outdoors.

Paul Kemmeter, M.D., F.A.C.S. received his B.S. from University of Michigan and his M.D. degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He is an Assistant Professor of Surgery for Michigan State College of Human Medicine and currently serves as the Associate Program Director of the GRMERC-MSU General Surgery residency program. He is also the medical director of Bariatric Surgery at St. Mary’s Health Care. Along with performing bariatric surgery, he also performs General Surgery procedures including Acute Care surgeries and Advanced Laparoscopy including ventral and inguinal hernia surgeries, gallbladder surgery, appendectomies and other emergency surgeries

Dr. Krebill was born in Donnellson, Iowa where he grew up helping manage the family farm and livestock feed store. After obtaining his undergraduate and Doctor of Medicine degrees at the University of Iowa, he completed his training with the Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners-Michigan State University General Surgery Residency. He provides general surgery and bariatric surgery services in both Grand Rapids and Grand Haven. He currently lives in the Grand Rapids area with his wife and three children. During time away from work he enjoys the outdoors, traveling with family, reading, weight training, and staying active through sports

Dr. Nagle is married with two children. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, running, scuba diving, skiing, and many other hobbies. He is a commercial pilot and donates time to Wings of Mercy, which provides free air transportation to patients who need treatment at distant medical facilities.

Dr. Sandy works in preoperative and postoperative care as well as in non-surgical weight loss. She developed an interest in bariatric medicine after years of treating obesity and related complications in primary care and finding this to be an area often not adequately addressed in general practice.
Darcie Sharapova, MD
Dr. Sharapova is board certified family doctor with more than 12years of experience. She passionate about plant based disease prevention and health promotion in her community. She has presented motivational health outreach at Petoskey schools, McLaren Hospital foundation, nursing homes and at her local church.
Dr. Sharapova is an avid athlete. She enjoys long-distance running, hiking, and backpacking. She has an extensive history in athletics including winning a silver medal in the 1992 Olympics in short track speedskating in Albertville, France.
She and her husband Anton have three children. As a family, they enjoy backpacking, Earthroaming, kayaking and are involved with missions work.
